She could've handled the situation in a different manner. Maybe try to create an account that wasn't on google? :/ Hope she has a good semester... See everyone on Thursday!
I understand where she is coming from, but it's a requirement for this class. Also, he clearly mentioned it with enough time in advance. It's a small inconvenience if you already have an email set up, but the return is learning a cool language. So on a great note: See you all tomorrow!
Replying back to his email responses the way she did was certainly uncalled for and could have been a little more respectful even if she didn't like the response she received. Especially since the email was a requirement. Good luck everyone!
This goes to show that there is a right way to do things and a wrong way. This person obviously knows better. If the email had specific requirements then follow it. Disregarding it shows that they have no respect for the rules.
I admire her being vocal and I also understand where she is coming from, however we all do need to make a professional email some point in our lives. I suppose starting college would be a good start.
Seems like questions most of us had, but I hope everyone has complied to the rules and we're ready to move forward. See you all on Thursday.

ReplyDeleteYou need to comply with class requirements, NO EXCEPTIONS! Especially if the requirements are reasonable.
